Question 1

Who actually performs the transplant?

Accepted Answer

In the hospitals we work with, a licensed dermatologist or plastic surgeon plans the hairline and performs or directly supervises extraction and implantation. Ask for the physician's name and licence on your quote — we include it as standard.

Question 2

When will I see results?

Accepted Answer

Transplanted hair usually sheds in the first weeks, new growth starts around three to four months, and the final result is judged at about 12 months. Results vary with hair type and donor area.

Question 3

Can I travel during Ramadan for a hair transplant?

Accepted Answer

Yes, though the procedure day involves local anaesthesia and medication, which your doctor may advise taking during the day. Many patients choose the weeks after Eid instead.
